Hospitality and the Human Factor in Tourism
Hotel and restaurant staff, guides, captains, artisans, tradespeople; the moment of service, the encounter, the labor.
Culture, Heritage and Gastronomy
Archaeological sites and museums, handicrafts, festivals, local cuisine and production culture.
Sustainable Tourism and Nature
Nature conservation, ecotourism, rural and highland tourism, biodiversity. This also includes critical studies documenting the impact of tourism on nature.
Other
High-quality photographic works on tourism that don't exactly fit into the four categories above.
Who can apply?
Must be 18 years of age or older and of the following age: at least one of them Anyone who can document it:
- Having a valid yellow press card
- To document that you have worked as a photojournalist for a media organization for the past two years.
- Being a photojournalist member of a journalists' association or professional organization
What will you send?
- Most 6 photos, most in each category 3 photos.

- For each photograph: its name, the location it was taken, and the date it was taken.
- You don't need to enter a username — the system will add it to your application. a unique nickname The jury will only see you with this code.

What is EXIF and why do we need it? Your camera records an invisible tag on each frame: which camera, when, and with what settings. We verify the authenticity of the work with this tag. Some editing programs and social media applications erase it — the photo. as it comes out of your machine Upload it.
Rules
Free
- Exposure, contrast, color balance, sharpness, noise reduction, dust removal, framing, straightening, black and white conversion.
Unaccepted
- AI-generated images, generative fill, AI enlargement.
- Collage and composite; adding or removing objects from an image; changing the sky/background.
- HDR splicing; composite images created using the phone's automatic HDR, portrait, night, and panorama modes.
- To stage the scene and present it as if it were real.
Accepted special circumstances
- Panoramas created from real-time shots, drone photos, underwater photos, and single-shot phone clips.
We require the original files for the photos that are nearing the award. Applicants for awards and exhibition are required to submit the raw file (RAW or unprocessed JPEG) of their work; if it does not arrive within five business days, the work will be disqualified.
The jury doesn't know whose photo it is. The images arrive coded for the jury: they only see the photograph, its name, the location, and the date it was taken. The jury report is published along with the results.
The fact that your photograph has been previously published in the press is not an obstacle — that's what's expected in this field. What is an obstacle is if it has won an award in a photography competition.
